Sustainable development and environmental responsibility have been core values of Bill.me since its first day of operation. We do not see ourselves only as a technology company, but rather as an agent of change helping Latvian society become "greener". We have calculated that thanks to our users' choice to opt out of paper bills, more than 5 tons of paper have been saved in Latvia in recent years – equivalent to hundreds of saved trees and massive savings in CO2 emissions.

However, we do not stop at saving paper. Digitalization also means less transport load and more efficient resource use in municipalities and enterprises. We are proud of our community, which is becoming increasingly conscious. In the future, we plan to introduce additional features that will allow users to see their personal "eco-contribution" in the app profile. Together, we prove that technological progress and nature protection can go hand in hand, making Latvia a cleaner and more well-kept place for future generations.
